It's cold and rainy here in LA today and I think it's going to be like this throughout the weekend, so we're throwing on our "winter wear" (winter wear in LA basically means an excuse to wear a heavier sweater, scarf and tall boots tucked into skinnies) and braving the frigid 60 degree temps. I'm only half-kidding ;-)
Plans for the weekend include:
- Hayes starting his Gymboree class with his friend Gavin. The description of the class includes, "build strength through play with ramps, slides and climbers", which should be interesting for our non-crawling boy...
- A night out on the town with some of Grant's childhood SF friends who are here for the weekend.
We're planning on going to this new bar, so I'm excited to check it out...
Sunday morning is going to be especially rough with Daylight Savings going into effect!
- A Sunday BBQ (weather permitting) at our casa for those same friends and to watch the Niners. Yep, the Niners being a decent team this year means I get to watch the NFL as well as College Football every weekend. Joy! Anyway, it gives me an excuse to make Whitney's tailgating shrimp - yum!
Here's a pic of the interesting outfit choice for Hayes I came home to last night. With Susu, you never know what you're going to find, but seems she wasn't quite finished with Halloween and was feeling a mono-chromatic orange look for our boy that day :)
Have a great weekend!
