It's officially Christmas around here, tree is trimmed, halls are sufficiently decked
and Christmas music is blasting from the iPhone at all times.
We are definitely the minority in this uber-Jewish neighborhood (could be the understatement of the century...) but we were pleasantly surprised to see a glorious Noble Fir front and center in our neighbor's window about 5 houses down so that made us feel a little less unique about partaking in our usual holiday cheer.
We had the Uncles over last night to help us decorate Hayzey's first tree and indulge in some of Mama Mailloux's (I guess we should be calling her Nana Mailloux now?!) spaghetti bolognese.

Besides the holiday festivities, we didn't do too much this weekend as our boy was battling his first cold and Mama was a little under the weather herself. We're all feeling much better today :-)
We did manage to escape the house for a few hours on Saturday to run some errands and have brunch at one of our fave spots, BLD. I snapped a photo of G & H and was reminded of another photo I have of the two of them there when Hayes was only 3 weeks old. My how the little man has grown!

And how much better is the iPhone camera than the Pearl?!?!
Have a great week!
